Course Overview

In the IPAF Harness HA HU HI course we learn all three categories in a day starting with:

Harness Awareness

Select Harnesses and lanyards for us in MEWP’s

Manage and supervise use of harnesses and lanyards for use in MEWP’s

Create safe systems of work for harness and lanyard use in MEWP’s

Harness User

All of the above plus – use harness and lanyards in a MEWP

Conduct pre-use checks of harnesses and lanyards for use in MEWPS

Harness Inspection

All of the above plus – Conduct statutory inspections of harnesses and lanyards for use in MEWP’s

How long is the course?

The course starts promptly at 8am and we aim to finished for 4:30pm but this is subject to change.Where is the course?

We can facilitate IPAF Harness Training through our 7 Regional Training Centres at Blackpool, Blackburn, Preston, Lancaster, Manchester, Warrington, and Castleford. If you require on-site training please contact us directly and it can be arranged.

What is included?

• Digital certificate sent directly to yourself.
• A license that is valid for 5 years.
• Materials for after the course should you require them.
• Candidates will be required to bring with them their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Should you require a harness we do sell these, please enquire at the time of booking.

CITB Levy paying customer?

As an ATO (Associated Training Organisation) we can claim your grants on your behalf under recent guidelines we can claim £140 on your behalf back from CITB! Inform us at the time of booking!
