Course Overview

The Forklift Truck Five-Day training course is designed to train a maximum of 3 delegates per one instructor.

The course covers the following:

• Operators safety code
• Principals of lifting
• Battery care
• Stability factors
• Principals of the fork truck
• Steering operations (forward and reverse) & (confined areas)
• Picking up, setting down, transporting pallets / loads
• Stacking and de-stacking loads at various heights
• Daily maintenance checks

How long is the course?

The Novice Forklift Trucks is a Five-Day training course for 3 people, available at the following depot locations – Lancaster, Warrington, Manchester Trafford & Castleford or can be delivered at your business site – please enquire for an on-site training quotation 0333 323 2022.

Should the course be interrupted by a non-working day, then it commences on the next working day. We start the course at 8am. Each  training day is 6.5 hours long.

What is included?

• Candidates will be required to bring with them their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• The course can be accredited by RTITB at an additional cost.
